AutoNest is designed with a "Local-First" architecture. This means all of your floor plans, device layouts, and automation rules are stored entirely within your browser's local storage.
We do not upload, sync, or transmit your smart home blueprints to any external servers or third-party databases. Your data stays on your machine.
Note on Analytics: We may use basic, anonymized web analytics to understand traffic volume. These do not track your personal identity or access the data within your blueprints.
The AutoNest simulator is provided for planning, visualization, and experimental purposes only. Our simulation engine mimics standard smart home behaviors but is not a substitute for professional electrical, network, or smart home engineering.
If you export configurations directly from AutoNest into a live environment (such as Home Assistant, Hubitat, etc.), you are solely responsible for testing and verifying those configurations.
Waiver of Liability: Under no circumstances shall AutoNest or its creator be held liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from the use of this tool. This includes, but is not limited to: hardware malfunctions, network security vulnerabilities, automated lockouts, or damage to electrical systems resulting from exported configuration scripts.
By using AutoNest during the Early Access / Beta period, you acknowledge that the software is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. Features may change, break, or be removed without notice as we iterate toward a stable release.
